Iris Bouwmeester is a sculptor. She uses a lot of material that have a certain temporary character, like in this case isolation material. The way light gives shadow to surface is of great importance for Bouwmeester. While going through her archive of images i found two almost identical pictures of two different sculptures. I made a cmyk-based colour system to overprint in all possible combinations these two pictures. The result were 212 different coloured-combinations. Out if these combinations Bouwmeester selected new sculptures that should only exist on paper, in print, in colour. Unfortunately the project never made it into print. So these sculptures now only exist as an idea.
